Last Saturday, 14th of November my close friends and I decided to do a different kind of Mountain Bike ride. This time a farther location, a place called Dalaguete. It is located South of Cebu and this place is well-known for its peaks, especially the world renowned “Osmeña Peak”. Just beside that famous peak is another one called “Badian Tops”. For me I think this new Badian Tops can compete in terms of beauty, height and view with Osmeña Peak.
The climb was not easy but doable and worth the sweat! It does not have that good road, but there is access. Reaching the top gives you satisfaction and oh yes the view is worth every step you took going up!
Unfortunately we were not able to spend a lot of time for this trip since the whole idea was to do cycling and move to places, definitely we will be coming back. There are a lot activities that you can here, we did Strawberry picking too and did shopping for cheap and freshly grown vegetables.
I highly recommend this place, the drive is not that long and very accessible too. Soon, a new place with overnight offers will be available at Badian Tops, try checking out with the locals there. I can only imagine seeing clear skies and crystal clear starts, a photographer’s dream for shooting the milky way and other planets!
